
Study visit in Poland
In 16-20 July 2012 Akademy for the Development of Philanthropy in Poland and Federation of Community Foundations in Poland have organized study visit of foreign visitors in Polish Community Foundations. The visit aimed at exchanging experiences, entering into co-operation and promotion of activities and successes of Polish CF. The visit was funded by Ch. S. Mott Foundation and organized for a third time. In the last years took place in Bulgaria and Czech Republic.
The visit starded in Warsaw, where participants refer to the legal situation of Polish Community Foundations. The next day participants were divided into two groups (green and blue). Green group went to three Community Foundations in the South Poland: Biłgoraj Community Foundation (Biłgoraj), Leżajsk Community Foundation (Leżajsk) and Czajnia Association (Tomaszów Lubelski). Blue group went to three Community Foundations in the North Poland: The "Generations" Foundation (Tczew), Nidzica Community Foundation (Nidzica), Sokółka Community Foundation (Sokółka). During the visit of Community Foundations seats participants came to know their main actions and projects. Each visit was connected with the presentation of the main actions, meeting and discussion with Management Board, Council, employees, donors and volunteers of Community Foundation. While the last day two groups was discussing in Warsaw about the Polish CF image, challenges which stand in front of them (recording in annex) and about next visit in the next year in Romania.
